This lesson shows how to set specific open and close dates to an users in Moodle 2.

Enter the Quiz.

Locate the Administration block and click "User overrides" under Quiz administration.

Click the button "Add user override."

Select Override user(s).

Choose to open the quiz or close the quiz at a different time/date for one particular student (for say an excused absence such as extended illness or a death in family and any number of other extenuating circumstances where this becomes necessary). For students with special needs accommodations, you can turn off or extend the time limit. Click "Save" to confirm.

The override details will be displayed in the screen.
