How to assign a role at the course level in Moodle
A role designates what ability a user has in a Moodle site or course. To add a user to a course follow the steps below.
Navigate to the Administration block, expand Course administration, Users, and then click "Enrolled users."
Click the Enroll Users button in the upper right hand corner.
Select the role to assign from the drop-down menu.
Search for the user to enroll.
Click enter on the keyboard to start the search.
Click the Enroll button next to the user.
Repeat these steps until all users are enrolled.
Click the "Finish enrolling users" button when done.
