How to overwrite a file in Moodle.
Moodle allows users to overwrite files if they already exist in the system. The alterations made in a file can be reflected only in one single place or in many areas. If an alias is created, then when the original file is updated, it will change in all instances of the alias. Take the following steps to overwrite a file in Moodle.
Go to the area where the original file is located.
Source files and aliases can be recognized by the thumbnail. Click on the file to find the information.
Drag and drop or add a file with the same exact name.
Click "Overwrite" to confirm update.
