How to participate in a Choice activity in Moodle.
The Choice activity provides a polling mechanism to ignite interaction. A choice activity is very simple—the teacher asks a question and specifies multiple response options. It can be useful as a quick poll to stimulate thinking about a topic, to allow the class to vote on a direction for the course, or to gather research content. Choices can be designated to post anonymously, or with a student avatar by the selection. Polls are a good way to let participants get to know a little more about the other members of a course. Students are able to see a graphic representation of the poll. Learn how to answer a Choice by following the steps below.
On the front page of the course, locate the link to the Choice activity and click it.
Read the prompt.
Note: Poll submission data may be visible depending on instructor settings.
Make a selection.
Save your selection, click "Save my choice."
Choice has been saved.
Note: You may see the votes that have been cast so far if the instructor has enabled this feature.
