What is the Upcoming events Block in Moodle?
The Upcoming events Block displays future events in a summarized list. The number of days in advance is determined by the calendar_lookahead setting in Site Administrator.
Upcoming events Block
Events are generated directly from the Calendar and/or Activity deadlines, providing a link to full details or directly to the Activity. When a date is clicked on it will display the day-view Calendar for that day. When the title of the event is clicked on a detailed description of that event will be displayed.
The Block also contains links that are shortcuts to enter the main page of the Calendar and create new events.
